We are back and well rested from our trip to Colorado. When I say rested I mean Rested. My Quad suffered a blow that kept me from riding it. Nothing major but if continued to be operated Major damaged would have insued. So I got to sit at camp and take naps, tend to the camp fire and take morning walks in the fog then go back to bed. I didn't take near as many Photos as I normally do but I did take some. I want to thank by KCORR buddys for coming along and sharing in the experience and the fun.

Finally, the time is here! We leave soon to head west for the big week long ride in the Rocky Mountian state. Many ATVers have already been on some of the trails that we will riding on and they are reports most trails are open but some still have patches of snow blocking the trail or at least slowing down the ride with digging. The ATV forums are a filled with storys and pictures of trips made within the last couple of weeks and it makes it hard to sit here and wait till its my turn. I have been useless at work for that pass two weeks reading every story and looking at all the pictures. Chances are I will post alot of pictures here when I return. See ya then.

The time is Near

Well now, we are getting closer to the trip and things are getting exciting. Our group has swelled to 6 riders traveling to Colorado for this week of ATV riding fun. We are making a "Shake Down" trip soon to see how everthing will fit in and on the trailers as well as to see what all we need or what everyone can provide on camping supplies so that we are not bringing multiple items.

I can hardly wait for this "Shake Down" ride, I have not ridin my ATV since last fall and I am dying to get some good riding in.

Alright the trip is getting closer and plans are being set. I am soo excited I can hardly wait. We will be camping in tents and cooking everything by fire or camp stove, this will be the longest I have camped ever. I plan on making several small camping trips with my son through out the spring and summer to local lakes and even my parents farm.
We had a fill valve break on an up stairs toilet at home and filled up the basement which in the big picture was a good thing. It forced us to clean and organize the basement and throw out some junk. We made piles of stuff to donate and a pile for summer garage sales. I was able to get all my camping and some ATV stuff up off the floor and get them on a shelf where I can see what I have and I can better plan for trips as I am always packing everything and sometimes I will have double of something that is taking up space.
So in closing for today, the trip is becoming more reality each week and getting more exciting as well.

Look Ma, I made my own blog.

OK, I have done it now here it is for all to see. Hope you like it and return often. I will begin adding Pictures from my ATV riding trips. Right now it looks like late July is the big ATV trip to Taylor Park Colorado. We will be camping out for 6-7days and riding from our camp site each day to designated ORV trails. A friend of mine and I made this Pilgrimage about the same time in 2007 and enjoyed it. This yr we will be accompanied by 4-6 others from our local ATV group here in the KC area; http://kcorr.com/modules/newbb/ click on the link and check us out.
